Mumbai Phoenix Mall - High Street Phoenix celebrates a music themed Dazzling Diwali from 25th October to 5th November

Mumbai, 25 October 2013: This Diwali High Street Phoenix, the premier destination centre located at Lower Parel, is inviting you to their music themed annual property “Dazzling Diwali”. Spread over 12 days, from 25th October to 5th November, you can take part in a host of music, dance and art themed workshops along with a plethora of fun games, competitions and activities.  The highlight of “Musical Diwali” would be the belly dancing workshop by Veve Dance Academy which is affiliated with the Egyptian Embassy and has been running classes in India since 2006. If you believe your hips don’t lie then 2nd November you must shimmy to Raqs Sharqi, Tribal & Folk belly dance, along with dancing on live Darbouka.

If footwork and acrobatics is more up your alley then attend the B-Boying workshop on 3rd November by the talented group Freak n’Stylz. One of the most exciting things this Musical Dazzling Diwali would be to learn how to make musical instruments out of waste materials, happening on 26th October. The same day you can break into a sweat by attending a Zumba workshop hosted by none other than master professional Sucheta Pal. There will also be workshops to learn how to play the guitar and the keyboard, accompanied by classes on learning to make Diwali rangolis, cards, torals and diyas. Are you the competitive one? Then don’t forget to participate in the Mandala coloring, paper collage making, drawing and coloring competitions to bag some cool prizes this festive season.

If games excite you more then we have just what the doctor ordered.  Right from Antakshari, Limbo, musical housie to guessing songs, fun charades where you identify enacted songs, passing the parcel, song Pictionary and music quizzes, for 12 days you can play your heart out. No music themed event is complete without dedicating a song to your favorite person or to that bête noir for that matter. And if you have the vocal cords to envy then this Diwali, pick your favorite karaoke song and get your 5 minutes of fame amongst spirited mall-goers.

Are you ready to hum your favorite tune, shake a leg and dazzle your Diwali with High Street Phoenix?
