High Street Phoenix Celebrates International Day of the Girl Child in association with SNEHA on 11th October

October 2013: The current spate of atrocities against women make this
year’s International Day of The Girl Child an occasion to be utilized to champion
cause of the fairer sex. High Street
Phoenix in association with SNEHA,
a Mumbai based NGO, is celebrating the
International Girl Child Day on 11th
October 2013 from 12 pm – 5 pm
at the Courtyard of the destination
center.
The venue will see a host of
activities to mark the celebration. A 5-minute social Rap on the gender issues
and girl safety will be followed by a musical skit staged on the title ‘Nari- Shrap ya Vardan?’ a Dance parody
on a Bollywood number remarking how special the girls are to their dad and a
Fashion Show ‘Zara Sambhalkar’ all
by the children of NGO SNEHA, Mumbai. There will
also be a display of products like quilts, bags etc. from SNEHA's livelihood
program.
