Mumbai: High Street Phoenix Salutes Sachin Tendulkar
Through
a sand sculpture & a sand sculpting workshop as the November edition
of their popular monthly property Talent Tuesday
Mumbai, 14 November 2013: Oscar
Wilde had once said, ‘I think God, in
creating man, somewhat overestimated his ability’. Had he been witnessing
the master-blaster perform he would have rephrased his words. As the entire world
bids farewell to the living legend, High
Street Phoenix salutes Sachin
Tendulkar on the occasion of his retirement from International Cricket by bringing down
the famous sand sculptor Narayan Sahu from Orissa. Narayan will make a live sand sculpture of ‘Sachin holding a cricket bat in his hand
& coming out from a globe’ of approximately
6-7 feet high. He will start making the sculpture on 16th November and will finish it by 18th November 2013.
And
if this gives you an adrenaline rush to do something for the God of Cricket,
then High Street Phoenix gives you a chance by conducting a sand sculpting
workshop as the November edition of
their popular monthly property Talent Tuesday on 19th November from 12 pm to 6 pm. High Street Phoenix also
gives the fans various platforms from online to on-ground to spread their
message of love for Sachin and how much everyone is going to miss him. There
will be a graffiti wall placed at
the Courtyard where people can write a message for Sachin Tendulkar from 16th – 19th November
2013. Also there will be online contests run from 16th - 18th November on High Street Phoenix’s
facebook (https://www.facebook.com/highstreetphoenix) and twitter (https://twitter.com/gophoenixing) pages, where fans can bag prizes by answering questions
about Sachin Tendulkar correctly. The same will be displayed live on the screen
placed in the Courtyard while the audience can answer some tricky questions on
Sachin’s path-breaking career.
Celebrating
yet another talent from the contemporary world, High Street Phoenix’s ‘Talent
Tuesday’ is a monthly intellectual property aimed at giving a platform to
various talents & young enthusiasts. It offers a chance to witness some
inspiring & spellbinding performances and talent displays.
