And then, you let go of the clutch and put your right foot down! Remember, they brought in a rush of adrenaline! And that rainy night, when all electrical failed? Or the time you got miserably lost in wilderness? Now don’t start singing “those were the days!”

WIAA’s Veterans Rally is being held on Saturday 29th November 2014 has attracted more than 20 entries.

Veteran Rallyist Sunil Shanbhag is all set to challenge Jagdish Thackersey-Homi Commissariat the veteran rallyists in the Rally.

It is for the first time in the history of Motor Sports that a rally is organized for veterans and WIAA had the honour of holding it. Noted rallyists of yester years are going to participate in a 300 Km run from Mumbai to Mahableshwar. The Rally is held under aegis of FMSCI. Here’s a chance to meet up with your buddies and live those moments a few more!

Get your gear ready and go find your navigator [Hope you still have his number] or find a replacement!

Organized and conducted by WIAA - VETERAN’S RALLY is flagging off today, at 8.00am, take your daily wheels - A registered street car qualifies.  All you do is strap up with the navigator and there all go to Mahableshwar. Fuels, for the wheels and the belly is all that you carry.

We at WIAA are trying to locate as many veterans [those who have participated in motorcar rallies 15 or more years ago,] but may have missed out on a few. If you are in touch with fellow veterans, please do ask them to join up!

Let’s re-live the good old times [rather than just reminiscing about those times over a cup of warm tea.
